Compact hand-held light with overdrive MR16 halogen bulb, specially designed for technical and working divers as a powerful and compact alternative to an umbilical, ideal for day and night diving, as well as cave and wreck diving.

The C-4x is supplied with two MR16 lamps, an Osram Decostar IRC lamp for day diving and a daylight SoLux lamp for night and cave diving.

OSRAM DECOSTAR IRC: The IRC technology means a reduction in losses due to thermal radiation (IRC): Special bulb geometry and a sophisticated coating on the bulb ensure that the thermal (infrared) radiation is reflected and the heat emitted from the filament is reflected back to the filament. As a result the filament is heated further. This means that less electrical energy has to be supplied to the filament.

SOLUX: The spectral power distribution of SoLux™ is identical to daylight across the visible spectrum. The result is true color rendition of everything from sparkling jewels to clothing to sensitive art collections.
The beam uniformity of SoLux™ is unsurpassed. Other MR16 and incandescent reflector lamps emit uneven or splotchy intensity patters which distract the eye and change the appearance of an illuminated object.
SoLux's™ patented technology results in larger reduction of infra-red rays, up to 80 percent, when compared to standard tungsten-halogen lamps.
